The Hora Chart (D2) is a fascinating chart that should be examined to see the potential material gain of a person. It’s not only about the 2nd House or the 2nd Lord. Here are some general rules, and keep in mind, there are also exceptions.

1/ There are only 2 Lagnas in the Hora Chart

• In an Odd sign, the first 15 degrees belong to the Sun, and the second half belongs to the Moon
• In an Even sign in any house, the opposite, the first 15 degrees, belongs to the Moon, the other half belongs to the Sun.

2/ The Planets

• Natural Benefic (B) are Jupiter, Venus, Mercury, and the Moon
• Natural Malefic (M) are Sun, Saturn, and Mars
• It’s best (red) if M is placed in the Sun’s Hora and B is placed in the Moon’s Hora.

3/ Hora Lagnas

• Moon’s Hora indicates comfort, ease. Benefic planets are welcomed here. Making income with fewer struggles.
• Sun’s Hora indicates hardship. Malefic planets are suitable for dealing with struggles. Making income here is not so easy, but there is a higher chance of succeeding.
• If planets are not where they should be, that indicates a struggle in earning money.

4/ The energy exchange between the Sun and the Moon in D1

• If the Moon is placed together, or 4th, 7th, 10th from the Sun in the birth chart D1, and the Moon is afflicted, that gives the potential to make the person very rich. From what I have seen, that affliction makes sure that they often do not stay in their comfort zone.
• If the Moon is placed in Kendra from the Sun and not afflicted, the income usually remains average.
• The Moon is placed 2^nd, 5^th, 8^th, or 11^th house away from the Sun; the income is medium, quite good.
• The Moon is placed 3^rd, 6^th, 9^th, or 12^th house from the Sun; the potential of having very good income is high.
