The Sun represents the Soul, the life force in astrology. With or without knowledge of astrology, everybody ends up right wherever the Sun is in the horoscope. Because the life force will lead us where we need to be. Using astrology, you are aware of it. That’s the difference.

• I do the first one, the Sun in the 1st House, as an example, to show you how to interpret the Sun’s placement in the horoscope and move quickly from the 2nd to the 12th house. You also have the chance to interpret, to practice a bit of astrology using the signification in the image above.
• If there’s affliction, the result varies depending on how much the affliction is in the chart. If there’s a beneficial aspect, the good results multifold.

1/ The 1st house (body, appearance, health, fame)

Human

• The native is aligned with the soul and aware of his direction in life. He can sense where he should be heading. He won’t be sitting around and asking, “What should I do with my life?”.
• The native is physically strong, has good health, and respects his father
• The native likes bitter food and thinks positively.
• The native carries a lot of responsibility on his shoulders.

Personality

• He’s self-reliant, doesn’t like to ask for help, and feels partially bad when somebody offers help. Some ego problem is there.
• He’s wandering around, like the Sun going from East to West every day in the sky. He does not like to be still in one place for too long. He’s independent, truthful, and very organized.

Health

• He might have a bald head and have a problem related to eyesight and the heart

Non-Human

• He prefers a dry climate area, a forest.
• Wherever he goes, the Sun in the 1st house never dresses in casual clothes. His appearance is nice, clean, and formal most of the time, even if he goes to the cinema, where there’s no light and nobody looks at him, because everyone is watching the movie.

Ornament

• The native does not necessarily wear an ornament in the 21st century. However, other items that are made of gold or copper will be in his house. For example, he might drink water using copper cups. Or his smartphone has a gold-colored case. Or he has a golden tooth.

Color

• Orange clothing, smartphones are more often seen, but sometimes Dark Red also.

Profession

• If the Sun is placed from 2, 5, 7, or 9th from Saturn, then the chance of the native working directly in politics is high. Most of the time, it’s a politician's chart, if it’s also confirmed in the divisional charts.

Spirituality

• If the Sun is in 1, 5, or 9th, without affliction, the native is religious. He worships Shiva/ Jesus/ Buddha… depending on which religion.

2/ The 2nd House

• Having a strong family value
• Direct speech often causes conflicts
• If the Sun is not in its own sign, or exaltation sign, or does not have a benefic aspect, then the Sun in the 2nd house is not good for finance

3/ The 3rd House

• Having good strength, reputation, and courage
• Being Intelligent, learned, and liked by the opposite sex
• Going on pilgrimages

4/ The 4th house

• The mother runs the house
• Being sociable, soft-hearted, skilled in playing music, and favored by authority
• Get suitable support after 32

5/ The 5th house

• The native is wise, religious, knowledgeable in scripture, but does not enjoy happiness from children
• Interested in astrology and performing arts
• May have 2 marriages

6/ The 6th house

• The “King-Maker” - the native is very supportive and helpful to others, powerful, and wealthy
• Suffering pain in the legs
• Gain inheritance from the maternal side

7/ The 7th house

• Poor health and finances
• Does not get respect from the opposite sex; has a disturbed married life
• Having a good connection with government offices and politicians

8/ The 8th house

• Constant fear of losing power and downfall

• Good at keeping secrets and doing research

9/ The 9th house

• The father runs the house
• Long-lived, religious, and enjoy wealth and happiness from children
• Good placement for the male’s chart, not for the female’s chart

10/ The 10th house

• High Ego, authoritative, good name, and status
• Intelligent, learned, interested in music and dance
• Separated from his relations

11/ The 11th house

• Has a strong physique and is interested in gathering money
• Gain through conflicts and government
• Has a beautiful wife and a long life; however, the relationship with his children is not smooth.

12/ The 12th house

• Gain wealth during the journey; win over enemies
• Spending money on unnecessary things
• If the sun attains strength in the 12th house, it’s a blessing from God.

• Side story: Once I had a conversation with a person with this placement. After breaking up, the person said that it’s fine for them to separate. They know that the relationship is not meant to be, but the person still misses the other half very much. Sometimes, just simply looking at the Ex-partner from a distance it’s also enough. That’s how much an Adra person loves.

To make it easier to understand, we go back to the story:

The Sun (Rama) in Adra (symbol: Teardrop). Going to the forest, facing danger, is nothing to Lord Rama. The first time Lord Rama has to experienced suffering was when he was looking for Maa Sita after she’d been taken away.

1/ Sri Rama is there; who needs the rest?

• This combo in Adra’s 10th house can handle the work of 10 people. If it’s making a movie, one writes the script, directs, and acts in his own movie.

2/ Sri Rama asked the trees, the mountain if they could see where his Sita is.

• Often seen is, Adra likes to talk to non-human beings in a way as if they are human. They talk to trees, hug trees, talk to pets as friends, and family members. They have a huge heart for all life forms. Remember, the Sun doesn’t shine only for humans, but also for all. Not only when planets are in Adra, but also when Adra gets strength in any horoscope, this sign will show up in these people.

3/ Sri Rama can face any challenges, fight all kinds of demons, but can’t handle himself, and is completely lost after losing sight of Maa Sita.

• Adra is doing fine on their own, great with a partner by their side, and falls if the relationship/marriage doesn’t work out.

4/ Sri Rama doesn’t like to be challenged. Taking his Sita away is a big mistake.

• Having this combo in the 10th, the person doesn’t like to be told what to do. If he does something, he does it because it’s necessary for the benefit of others. Force him to do a certain thing (challenging him), and the result will be bad for the challenger.

5/ Before the god of the ocean shows up, tell Sri Rama to calm down; he is still out of his mind in search of Sita

• In difficulty, one needs guidance, a guru/coach/mentor to show them the way. The Adra people won’t be able to sort things out on their own. They would blame themselves for the situation.

Using the characteristics of the Moon in the image above to interpret the significations of the Moon in the 12 Houses in astrology!

Note: If there’s affliction, the result will be reduced. If there’s a beneficial aspect, the result is multifold.

1/ 1st House (the body, health, appearance)

Human: Women play an important role in a person’s life. For example, the native is closer to their mother than to their father. The native is beautiful. One enjoys happiness and care from the mother and from the community (masses). They often become popular in the later part of life, at least in their community.

Personality: The native is sensitive, unstable-minded, and attractive. The level of tolerance, politeness, and introversion depends on the placement of the signs and other influences in the horoscope.

• For example, if Gemini is in the first house, the chance that the native is an introvert is very low, because Gemini natives love to communicate. They talk a lot. If they don’t speak, they will die. (I’m kidding. - If they don’t speak, many headphone companies will go bankrupt. ANC is useless. Therefore, Moon Gemini is essential for the sound, music, and entertainment industry.)

Non-human: the native desires to have their own house. In India, many houses have water tanks, and the opposite is true in the West. That can’t be used as a prediction. The native might volunteer to build water-saving sources in other places, such as in Africa, or they might work in this field. The native likes flowers and perfume; Drinking milk or being a vegetarian is not necessarily true, but they provide care and nurture to others.

Health: Usually, having the Moon in the 1st house indicates that the native has good health, unless there’s an affliction.

Profession: This must be considered in relation to other planets. If the Moon is one of the strongest, then the professions in those fields above will show. One thing we can say is that, whatever they do, Moon 1st House, they try to fulfill their responsibility because of their caring nature. If they don’t do the work properly, others have to do their part. That’s what they don’t like to see. In a way, we can say, they are “mothering,” and most mothers on earth don’t want their children to work more than themselves.

Color: the outfit of Moon in the 1st house is mostly bright.

Ornament: Yes. They do wear ornaments.

Cash-flow: The Moon does represent cash flow, which provides the comfort of the materialistic aspect in life. Because it is changing to digital currency. The Moon still indicates the flow of income, but the “cash” part might be shifted to Mercury and Venus in the near future.

The 7th Aspect is the 7th house: the Mind is fixed on nurturing a relationship. When something goes wrong, it’s the partner’s fault, most of the time, because the Mind is looking at the partner. It makes total sense when the Moon represents women, who are always right. It’s the law of nature; there’s nothing that men can do in this case.

Hope you get the idea of combining the significations of the planet with the house. From the 2nd house, we will proceed quickly, and I will list something you might not be aware of if you’re new to astrology. So that you can also practice the rest on your own. That should be fun!

If you know more than the basics, then you should always see the Moon in relation to the Sun, Saturn, Rahu, and Ketu. One planet, one house does not say much about the person. See the whole horoscope!

Why does Gemstone not work in this period?

If you think you get a stone from a shop and wear it, the stone will do magic for you automatically. There’s a big misunderstanding when reading the scripture or online remedies.

The social context in which the remedy was written in the past is different from the society we are living in now, in the 21st century. To use the stone, there’s a whole ritual for it. That was normal in the indian lifestyle at that time, to perform a ritual daily. When a stone is recommended, it will naturally work. Nobody needs to tell the other person that a ritual must be performed.

Today, especially in big cities, how many people are still following tradition when most of what they get is from social media? Young people don’t even cook their own food. It’s very convenient to order food online. If one does not know how to prepare their own food, how can they ever be able to perform any other ritual? The ring and stone are just simple jewelry. At first, that makes the ring owner happy, yes, same as other items as a smartphone, and even happier is the one who sells the idea, plus those who sell the stone. After a long time, everyone feels like they've been cheated, on both sides.

The era has changed.

The Sages wrote only Sutras, one-line remedies. “Planet A in House B, wear stone C.”

• If you read that line in a book, what do you think? - It’s so easy. Just follow, and the problem is solved. Isn’t it so?
• When was the last time you saw such a line online, and think about what it really means? Why did they say so?
• The world population is over 8B now. There are over 10 million people who have this planet’s placement in D1. Just think about whether that’s even logical.

Then and Now - This remains. Whoever has had the stone for over 10 years, ask yourself

• Is your problem solved?
• Are you now happier than before?
• Have you archived what you wanted to archive since you got the stone?

If all of these answers were Yes, then congratulations! Would you be able to continue to live without the stone?

• See how fear works! Instead of being addicted to other stuff, you choose to be addicted to fear.
• Do you want to be happy and have a good night's sleep? Or do you want the stone and live in fear until the end of time? - Pick one, because you can never have both.

I do it almost every day, looking at the chart to make a decision, because I live with astrology. You might not. Before answering the question and discussing the remedy, there are some basic rules of the game:

1/ If it’s not meant to be, it will never happen.

• For example, I can see what the favored moment is going to be, but I prepare and wait. However, if the favored thing was not meant to be for me, something will come in between and make me miss that moment.

2/ Nobody can change the outcome.

• If I had a chart like Warren Buffett, I couldn’t help but be rich. There’s no other way. Because I don’t have that chart, what would happen if my Rahu were “naughty”? - I would have been chasing the wrong goal and suffering until the end. No? - I have to learn about my path, what I am supposed to do, instead of chasing the false idea.
• We all face difficulties in life; the lesson is to walk the path with less resistance. If nothing is going our way, it’s because we are going against the wind. If something is not meant to be, then let it go. The more we resist, the greater the pain.
• For example, it seems to take forever for somebody to get over a heartbreak. You can look at their birthday; the day is often the 2nd, 11th, 20th, or 29th of the month. No horoscope is required. - Seeing this point is good, but it’s better to understand why these people resist, why can’t they just accept that something was not meant to be? - Imagine, they are your children, what would you do to support them? Because telling them to let go does not help.
• That’s the outcome. If you were born on those days, you are bound to go through many heartbreaks. - I can’t change that.

3/ Answer the question: How can astrology be helpful for an individual when it comes to deciding on finances

• You have to see whether you’re patient enough or not, or if you’re rushing to make a decision. which means, you’re easily panicked. If you can’t figure that out yourself, then look at the horoscope!
• For example, Mars in the 4th house, this fellow, will decide in a hurry. - Even if he’s patient enough, he does not decide when he’s chill and calm. He waits until his ass is on fire, and then he decides. - We all know what the outcome would be, don’t we? - Mars 4th house, without a benefic aspect, and if you’re in your 40s, you can look back, don’t you regret most of the decisions you made? Hanging out with the wrong people, investing time and effort in the wrong place?
• Another example: Ketu in the 11th house, this fellow decides most of the time “wrong”, but wait. This guy is cute. In the beginning, the first phase, nothing worked the way he wanted. Let’s say he bought Bitcoin when nobody knew what it was good for. - Everybody criticised him, laughed at him. So look at him now, in 2025. That “wrong decision 10 years ago” made him rich. That's a good mistake.
• Different people, different karmas. There are no rules that are applicable to all. 
• See what and where your wealth indicators are in the horoscope and work on them.

Everybody has different paths to follow. The insight from an analysis helps us understand our characters; from there, we keep on living.

3.1/ Tell this to your friend and relative. If they head towards Gemstone, you don’t need the horoscope; you can tell right away. Their Mars is weak. They are in the forest but expect the comfort of a Kingdom.

3.2/ Don’t use astrology as a tool for your investment, but use it to understand yourself and situations. If you know where your place is, you will know how to behave accordingly. Whether you are in the kingdom or you are in the forest? - Which dasa is running? What do you have in store to deal with the circumstances? - If you’re in the forest but expect the comfort of the Kingdom, guess who causes trouble? Learn from Sri Ram! - This is the answer to your question.

3.3/ To use it as a tool to analyse finance, you have to study astrology seriously, which will take years and years. But then, if material gain is the reason you learn astrology, you will forever be poor. Mahalakshmi promised this in the scripture.

• Look at the richest people, they have astrologer friends, but they themselves do not know astrology. And they don’t depend on astrologers either, but on their skill. You need to be very careful with your approach.

4/ General Remedy

4.1/ Meditation, Yoga, Sadhana, Taichi, etc, all will calm down the mind, and avoid panic attacks. Especially if your Moon, Rahu, or Ketu is in a weak condition

4.2/ Depending on the climate where you live. But if Mars is weak, throw the mattress away or donate it if it’s still in good condition; the more comfort you want during a bad time, the worse your decision. And replace it with a hard bed, covered by 3 thin layers

• The bed should be at least 10 cm off the floor. Never sleep directly on the floor!
• The first layer, which touches the bed, should be thermo-isolated. It’s not expensive, and you can easily get online. So that your back doesn’t get cold. If the back is weak, your career is likely to go down. Unless you can show me one person who can stand/sit straight when he has no money. All of them curve like shrimps.
• The other 2 layers of the bed should be thin. So that you still feel the hardness of the bed.

4.3/ If you don’t use these remedies, it’s fine. Buy a stone and wait for miracles! But if you use these remedies,

• Then you should go out and donate something, such as food, money, etc, within your capacity to the homeless, stray animals, or temples.
• Don’t take anything for granted; it hurts your Saturn, which is the Karaka for career.
• If you pay close attention, people who do not get much in life don’t give much either. Learn to give! We can’t change the outcome, but we can influence it to a certain degree.

We will all change our ideas about income in the next 5 years. The process has already begun. If you observe, digital payment methods have been gaining momentum in recent years, replacing traditional ones. The flow affects all of us in the way we think about making a living. “We are forced” to look at our finances differently when Jupiter speeds up. If you don’t feel the change now, at least by the end of 2027, you will.

The best case is, you know somebody, or you yourself have a government job. So far, this is the safest job we know of. There’s almost zero risk, unlike doing business. But the situation has changed. Even in the “safest” environment, such as teachers, policemen, officers, etc. You or somebody you know will be forced to think about another way of making a living. Subconsciously or consciously, the way you work will be different. Still legal but different. Just wait and see!

If you read this, two things you should be aware of:

You will take financial matters into your own hands.

• It’s not like going to work and getting a monthly salary. Of course, that’s your own hands, your own effort. What I mean is, you don’t really trust the source of your income anymore, and you want to have a backup plan, another source of income.
• For example, if somebody sells fish in the market in the morning, they will start selling another item in the evening, such as street food.
• Without knowing astrology, everyone will automatically work differently. Knowing astrology, we look at signs and how behaviors shift. That’s it. Because you’re reading this, and the fish seller does not, we come to the next point.

Think digital!

• Don’t jump into the stock, digital currency stuff, without knowledge of the field, and call that Digital. It’s a gamble and very bad practice for health, wealth. The gov will roll out their own digital currency very soon. Depending on where you live, you will have the digital version of your own balance. No need to rush into the trading madness.
• Don’t open a YouTube channel and call that digital. Well, maybe, if one’s lucky, he might be successful.
• See where Scorpio is in your horoscope; that area should be digitalised in the next 5 years.

For example, Scorpio 1st house

• Rahu is not in the Scorpio!
• Your identity, your image (LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram), put them out there, make it visible
• What if you are a school teacher? Then how does it help to make your image visible in the digital world? You can’t use those platforms as a student. You can’t dance on TikTok as a child - You might want to think about making your image visible, such as teaching online, besides teaching offline. Or joining an online school and teaching online. That’s also one possibility.
• Be flexible, be creative in your approach.
• How to do it? See Scorpio in your D9.

Think digital means that you turn what is your own, what you know well, into an extra digital source of income. If you don’t know what to do, then learn something!

• If you’re in your 30s or younger, then it is a little bit easier to adapt.
• If you’re in your 40s or older, then it might be difficult because most of what you know is based on the knowledge of the non-digital world. I would say let’s play it safe here and stay offline.

That’s the general shift, which will be seen in the next couple of years. Not everyone will do, and that’s also normal. It’s the natural process. Not all flowers blossom in spring; some will bloom in summer or later.

Important is, don’t rush into it! You will fail. Don’t quit your job and start a YouTube channel; that’s silly. If you don’t have a job, then maybe this piece of information may be useful. Learn and master at least one skill before going to this digital world!

Time doesn't wait for anyone. After this preparation period, the seed that was planted may grow in the next period, from 2030.

Knowing the signs that indicate financial difficulty is useful while studying a horoscope. But it’s not useful when we don’t know how to deal with it.

• I list a few signs below
• If you have one or many of these signs in your birth chart, don’t freak out! First, it doesn’t help when you are anxious. Second, most of the time, when people are anxious, lose control, they often do silly things, which lead to more unfavorable results.
• I posted right before this post about the wealth indicators for each sign. You might want to read and see where you can start the work.

Simple, Basic Signs that indicate financial difficulty in a horoscope

1 - The wealth houses 2nd, 5th, 9th and 11th house

If at least one of these wealth houses and the house Lord is weak, which means there is an association with malefic (Saturn, Mars, Rahu, Ketu) in these houses.

• Malefics are present, aspects, in these houses, or conjoin with the house lords.
• Fewer afflictions, fewer problems.
• If there’s a benefic’s association, among malefic’s association, the problem will start, but it will also be solved (no need to panic)

2 - The trouble houses 6th, 8th, and 12th house

If the 6th house or Virgo is afflicted, the native will take a loan. Try and see for yourself!

In ideal cases, there should not be any association between the “wealth houses” and the “trouble houses” without aspect by benefic. There should be a benefic involved; the native might be super wealthy after struggles. If there’s no benefic association, the situation is very difficult.

3 - The Moon’s placement

The Sun and Moon are afflicted.

The Moon is hemmed between two malefics.

The Moon is isolated in a house. There’s no planet in the house 2nd from it or 12th from it.

• Rahu, Ketu are shadow planets. They are not counted as a planet in this case, even if they are conjunct or placed in 2nd or 12th from the Moon.
• See example below

4 - Example

Cancer Ascendant, Sun is the 2nd Lord. Saturn is the 8th Lord.

• Rahu in the 9th House - That’s not a good sign.
• Sun Saturn conjunction in the 5th house - The 2nd bad sign.
• Saturn throws its 10th aspect on the 2nd house - the 3rd bad sign
• Saturn aspect the 11th house - the 4th bad sign
• So far, all wealth houses are hit: 2, 5, 9, 11th.
• Saturn, being the 8th Lord, presents in the 5th house (vision, Lakshmi) - the 5th bad sign
• Moon conjunct Rahu - the 6th bad sign
• Moon is isolated, Rahu does not count as an actual planet - the 7th bad sign

This makes sure that

• The native workers work extremely hard, are low-paid, and have less respect from the authority/boss. (Su, Sa in Scorpio (8))
• Ketu in Virgo (6) - Working long hours, suffering from debts
• Moon Rahu in Pisces (12) - the native will suffer for at least 45 years

The savior of the day - Jupiter in the 1st house

• Moon is with Rahu - The bad effect of Rahu won’t go further out of the 9th house. It is only in the 9th house
• For Cancer Ascendant, Jupiter is the big “investor” (see previous post). If the example native bows down to his Guru, follows the norm, traditional practice in the field of Jupiter (spirituality, yoga, etc). He will slowly come out of the difficult situation and will be alright, if not even rise in the later part of life, because the Sun, Moon are in the aspect of Jupiter.
• In the first part of life, the native is extremely poor. That’s undeniable.

If you see a horoscope, maybe your own horoscope, see the whole thing. Never look at one planet, one house, and judge!

First of all, I really like the idea of Western tropical astrology, when they associate Venus (material pleasure) with the dragon. To get the maximum out of Venus, to get that “treasure”, one must pass the dragon. It’s a risk to pursue that kind of wealth. Every type of business carries some level of risk. The business owner always faces the possibility that his business might fail, and he will lose everything. For someone who can run a successful business, he has access to great wealth that is guarded by “Venus”.

Second, I do not know much about the tropical system. Let’s discover what Mahalakshmi, the goddess of wealth, has in store for each sign in Vedic astrology.

• For those who are not religious, you don’t have to believe in “the goddess of wealth”; you can consider it as an expression of the one who guards all of the material wealth in the universe. Just look at your chart and planets’ placement as usual, and see what you can get out of this. Maybe a way to play with the Dragon!?
• The image/symbol of Mahalakshmi is the most basic, common, and easiest to access for most indians when it comes to wealth. There are deeper meanings of the symbol/image, which are only accessible to those who study. If you don’t study, it’s fine, just stay with the usual traditional worshipping activity!

The house of gain is the house of Mahalakshmi, the fifth house. The 5th Lord is your wealth protector.

• The 5th Lord in the 5th house is always good for material gain.
• If the 5th house is associated with malefic, the “fight against the dragon” or the path to “Mahalakshmi” will be challenging. One has to look for another way to go. That’s why the whole horoscope must be seen. One planet, or a few planets in a certain house, doesn’t mean much when it comes to analyzing the financial aspect in a person’s life.

• See where these planets are in the birth chart and work your way up the ladder.
• You can always pray to Mahalakshmi. If she’s not responding, you might want to see what you have done in your 9th house. If Lord Vishnu isn’t happy, Maa will not come. Indians know what this last paragraph means. If you do not know the story, you can always Google it.

This has always been a question for me since school: why can’t all students be good, but some are very good, some are quite good, and some students seem different than others? Some students with low marks suffer a lot from pressure from all sides (teachers, friends, and society), leading to low performance later in life because their self-esteem, self-confidence are heavily damaged. Are they really not intelligent?

If they could not perform well in life, they could not find the right jobs and pay the bills. There’s no other way but to commit a crime to survive. Don’t forget, their self-esteem was damaged before that. Who shall take the responsibility? School, Parents, Friends, or leaving it to Karma?

There’s a story:

At an Ashram, there was a naughty student who kept stealing things from the Ashram and selling them outside. Other students know this, but keep quiet and pray that he might change someday. But after a long period, they see no changes in the naughty student. One day, the other students couldn’t hold it anymore. After lunch, all of them, including the naughty student, go to see the Master. They tell the master what they witnessed and request that the master send this naughty one away from the Ashram.

The Master listens closely and replies: “My dear students, I understand your concern. You’re good students, you know what’s right and wrong. If, because of this fellow, you are unhappy studying here, you can go to another Ashram. I am happy for you all. But look at him, this boy does not know what is right and what is wrong. If I sent him away, then who would teach him?”

• This is not something that we see often in what we call “the modern educational environment.” There’s, but not often.

Since a guru like this is not available everywhere in the world, how can we use astrology to help us in the first step, in the beginning, from our family to school, to find out the way to learn better in school? Because this education system will be here for a while, it’s still useful, though it’s not perfect. Somehow, we and our children have to find a way through it, less damage and more knowledge, and as much as possible.

The Moon - The mind and the learning process

Using the most fundamental knowledge in astrology to understand the mind, through which we absorb the information from the outside world. And you also know which way is best for you to learn when you approach something new.

Everybody was born with a different moon’s placement in the horoscope. In this post, we focus on the Moon in different zodiac sign groups and how people perceive information differently. That can partially explain why some excel in math and physics, while others excel in literature and art… at school.

Fire Signs (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius)

Fire provides heat and light. With fire lighting up at night, we can see. Having Moon in Fire Signs, students seem to absorb information better when they see things with their own eyes. Imagination is not really their strength.

For example, in literature, there are many stories, such as the Mahabharata, or in the West, Shakespeare’s. It’s usually very boring for students who have the Moon in fire signs, because there are only words. They can’t see Romeo and Juliet with their own eyes, unless somebody acts that out in a play or in a movie. The student first sees the images, and then they absorb and store them as knowledge.

Earth Signs (Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn)

Down to earth. Having Moon in the earth signs indicates that students have a practical approach to life. They often do well in natural science subjects because they learn through experiments.

Seeing is also a part of the practical approach. Similar to fire signs, the Moon in earth signs, the students not only need to see, but also want to apply that knowledge. If the knowledge is not applicable, they will likely not learn well.

For example, speed = distance/time. It’s nice to have. Is it applicable? Is it true in a real-life situation? Let them try to go from home to school. If that’s true, they absorb that piece of information as knowledge. If you tell them the philosophical stuff, such as Kant, or the Geeta, it’s not very practical at first glance, Earth Moon probably won’t have much interest to learn.

Air Signs (Gemini, Libra, Aquarius)

I would say this group does best in school in the last century, the 20s century. They absorb knowledge in written form (books). In the 21st century, at the beginning, books are still here, but things are changing quite fast. We’ll see. For now, air signs are still on top of the game. Moon in air signs often have very good memories when it comes to remembering formulas and necessary knowledge for the exam, they do very good.

For example, if you talk to an Air Moon, their response are mostly like, “it’s written in that book, this research,…” or they quote somebody else, or from what they read before somewhere.

Water Signs (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces)

The Flow is the most important for Water Moon. They often do well in literature, history, and art. They would often have no idea how to begin if you gave them E=MC2. They need context, where they can see the beginning, the middle part, and the end. The whole flow must be there. They learn through stories, tales. If there is a message that comes with the story, then they can learn.

All signs can be good at school and in any subject.

If you have the Moon in water signs, you can still do good in math. The point is, the way you learn math will be different than an Air Sign. Water Sign still needs meaning after all. What is this formula used for? which purpose? If you don’t know the meaning, you just learn math because you have to pass high school.

For parents

If your kids do not do well at school, first of all, that does not mean they are stupid. Don’t treat them like a failure! Because if their self-esteem is broken, it’s very difficult to mend it later. And second, school teachers just do their job. Within 45 minutes, they have to deliver a lesson to 30-40 Students. They have done their best.

Nobody cares for your children as much as you do. Take the responsibility to educate your children into your own hands! You have to see which way their mind can absorb information best and try to find a way to deliver the same message again, if the first delivery was not successful.

It’s a mathematical point according to the calculation, but if we go deeper into these points (North and South Node), there’ll be more to be discovered.

• If you’re from the Western culture, then focus on the name of it. Why North and South? What is happening over there? - fell madly into the mathematical and physical aspects of them. Hopefully, you will find out the meaning of these points… in 5000 years (oops, I did it again, sarcastic)
• Or we can continue using what’s been taught in the Hindu tradition

According to the ancient Hindu scripture mentioned, in the last moment, whatever we think of before we die, we are bound to be reborn to continue fulfilling that thing. That’s our desire.

• For example, you work hard for the family, in exchange for the financial stability of the house, you spend more time at work than at home. There are no other options. All of your kids were successful, and you have a happy family until the end. From the outside, everything looks perfect. 60 years later, when you’re at 100. In the last moment, just a spark of thought pops up, “I could have spent more time with the kids when they were little,” or “ I wish to be the King of Bollywood in the next life.”,… depends, but eventually, you will get it.
• Rahu represents that same force that takes us out and puts us back in the game in no time. There’s no entity out there that makes us desire anything that we don’t want to. Because we want, we choose, and that’s why Rahu exists. We are the masters of our destiny. That’s what it means.
• If you go full power towards Ketu, renounce all pleasures, and become a Monk, then Rahu will try to pull you back into samsara at the beginning. If you can control your desires, over time, Rahu’s energy is still there, but instead of heading towards material pleasures, it goes towards peace of mind.
• As long as you are still out there, running around to make a living, to be involved in the material world, you desire something, but at the same time, you want a remedy to block that same desire. THAT MAKES NO SENSE! - It’s like you desire a house, take the loan, but you don’t want to do the work to pay it back. What remedy will help? Pay 2000 $ for a stone? I guess you just added 2000$ more to your debt, still thinking that’s an “investment”. - Just think! If you sit down and think, you might save a lot of money on nonsense remedies.
• I meet people with all kinds of necklaces, bracelets, and six rings with stones on both hands, and yet they are still fearful of living. Sometimes I wish these items could really work because I am heavily allergic to BS.

2/ How Rahu behaves in a horoscope, the basic approach

The West calls Rahu the Dragon’s head. Which is funny to me, how can the Dragon link with other planets in the horoscope? Because Venus is also another full-body, complete Dragon. That’s why both of them are friends? It’s a dead-end in the logic. They need to make up more stories for that.

Back to the Hindu tradition, Rahu is the head part. (There is a whole story about it, which you can Google.) I am not saying it’s “good or bad” but rather

• “Well behaved” (desire that brings less suffering to the native) and
• “Naughty” (desire that brings more suffering to the native).
• Desire always comes with suffering. There’s no other way around it.

• The Sun, Moon, and Jupiter represent the sources of knowledge. One needs a head to learn. Rahu (the head) needs a body. If Rahu is placed in the 4th, 5th, or 9th house (which belong to the “head-planets”), it will be “naughty”. 2 heads clash with each other.
• Rahu is also naughty in the 1st house, where Sun, Jupiter are most happy to be in.
• Ketu (body) rules the 12th house, moksha. If Rahu is in the 12th house, without other affliction, the head meets the body. The native is very helpful to society.
• Venus, Mercury, Mars, and Saturn rule the lower parts of the body (from the shoulders to the feet). Rahu is the head, will be “well-behaved” if Rahu is placed in these houses, which are ruled by these planets.
• Directional - Ketu is strong in the 10th house. Rahu is strong in the 7th house. Where Venus rules and Saturn is exalted.
• Similarly, Rahu is happier when conjunct with “body-planets” than “head-planets”. It can perform better with “body-planets” and give material gains.
• Desire is considered “poisonous” according to the Sage’s perspective. It’s not scary or dangerous to the native. That needs to be understood clearly. While being with “head-planets”, Rahu (the poison) is under control. Being conjunct with Jupiter (Shiva), Sun, or Moon (Mohini), Rahu’s aspect will be neutralised. The “poison” can’t affect other houses in the horoscope.
• Rahu, with “body planets,” you have material gains. With “head planets”, you know how to overcome suffering. Which one is good or bad for you, you pick!
• The 2nd, 5th, 7th, and 9th houses from where Rahu is placed. If you have planets there, that’s the source of your suffering, attachment, where you will make mistakes and experience the consequences. If these houses are empty, then you’re lucky in this incarnation. (Ketu is always in the 7th. Ketu does not count as the 7th aspect of Rahu.)
